Drawing a parallel through storytelling the origins of her universe, Teenear elevates her emotionally-charged songwriting and showcases a new, evolved sound. “‘Never Met A Me’ honestly feels like a re-introduction of myself to the world,” she explains. “It’s me finally standing in the essence of who I truly am, and it represents what I feel like is my bigger purpose right now. The music – it exudes confidence. It’s for the girls, it’s for the lovers, it’s for the hard workers… It’s for the ones that truly know how to feel.”

ABOUT TEENEAR:
Teenear was destined to be an R&B It-girl. The Miami-bred singer songwriter’s affinity for making music traces back to her high school days. At home, she started making covers to popular songs and used her voice to draw positive attention. Teenear soon realized that writing was a way to explore her boundless creative potential. This set the stage for the rising star we see today. During Teenear’s senior year of high school, she took on a role as a demo singer at Slip-N-Slide Records. It wasn’t long before she started composing songs to support her own artistic pursuits, and naturally, she signed with the powerhouse label. In fact, Teenear recorded her first single, “Friday Night” featuring Sage the Gemini (2015), during her first-ever professional recording session. She went on to release a consistent slate of songs over the next few years including the Trina-approved remix to “Streetlights” (2016), and 2019’s groundbreaking collaboration with Lil Baby, “I Like.” In 2020, Teenear burst onto the music scene with her smash single “Come See Me.” 2022 was highlighted by a brilliant interpolation of the ‘90s R&B hit “The Boy Is Mine” by Brandy and Monica, aptly titled “Ain’t Mine, and the Brandon Gomes-assisted “All I Want.” After taking a brief hiatus to focus on herself and her family, she reemerged in 2023 with part two of her sultry single, “Come See Me Pt. 2,” featuring Atlanta-based rapper K Camp. Beyond the music, Teenear has infiltrated the entertainment world in more ways than one, honing her acting skills and landing a role on MTV’s reality television series “Siesta Key.” A testament to her consistent growth, the R&B songstress has amassed a dedicated fanbase and forged an even deeper relationship with the creative community for her natural talent. With her forthcoming debut album, Never Met A Me, Teenear shows off her emotional depth through audaciously raw and impassioned lyrics that tackle themes of love, heartache, growing pains, and other human emotions. The album is poised to leave an imprint, but it’s also a coming-of-age moment that allows Teenear to express herself freely. In that delicate space, she encapsulates the transformative journey of becoming the best version of herself – using her past to empower her future.
