Western, MA emcee Massiah Kaine (1/2 of The Tangiers) returns with visuals for his “Ground 0 (Freestyle),” a raw and deeply personal new single produced by Farrari Beats, accompanied by a powerful music video directed by Designer Films. Stripped down to its foundation, the track finds Kaine confronting the pain, fear, family trauma and personal choices that have shaped his journey—while taking full responsibility for the role he has played along the way.
Written in blood, faith and tears, “Ground Zero” is not about returning to who Massiah Kaine once was. Instead, it represents the destruction of what no longer serves him and the determination to rebuild something stronger from the ground up.
The accompanying visual from Designer Films brings that internal struggle to life, reinforcing the song’s themes of reflection, accountability, destruction, and rebirth. “Ground 0” serves as both a reckoning with the past and a statement of purpose for what lies ahead.
