Dee Mula – Crank Up

Dee Mula’s unique flow has helped him rise above other up-and-comers in Memphis. Instead of relying on mumble rap like his peers, he embraces grimy wordplay and vivid storytelling about his childhood and adolescent years. At age 14, he had has first run-in with law enforcement after being caught in possession of a handgun while attempting a robbery. This event had a major impact on Dee Mula, and his lyrics showcase the struggles he continues to face.

He released Before Da Come Up, his first mixtape, in the spring of 2017 and began making a name for himself in the Memphis rap scene. In the fall of 2017 he released Let Me Get That Vol. 1, which featured the banger Str8 on Ha, which consumed the streets of Memphis and the Tri-State area. The song took off, confirming that he was on the right musical path. He caught the eye of Nless Entertainment CEO Marcus “Head” Howell who also reps superstar Moneybagg Yo, signed at their first meeting. A month after the release of Let Me Get That, Dee Mula became the newest member signed to the Nless Entertainment roster.
