Salt Lake City rapper Heather Grey drops his single and video “Saltwater” featuring Dilated Peoples’ Rakaa Iriscience and DJ Juggy.
The 23 year old, who was heavily inspired by Dilated Peoples growing up, describes working with Rakaa as “an extremely humbling experience”. The two tried to lyrically represent both of their hometowns: Los Angeles and Salt Lake City. Dj Juggy, also from Salt Lake and a long time friend of Rakaa, provided the cuts on the song.
“Saltwater” is the first single off Heather Grey’s upcoming album “A Mosaic”, set to be released November 29th. The album will feature artists such as Skyzoo, Nolan the Ninja, Mr. Lif & others.
