Malik Polo, the Egyptian/Irish rapper based in South East London, just dropped a new single titled Change with a music video inspired by French cult classic La Haine. Taken from his upcoming collaborative EP with Puerto Rican producer and Abu founder Ibn Itaka, Change reflects on a world of contradictions manifested in an era of online disinformation and physical isolation. For Change’s supporting visual, Hackney-based director Flora Scott takes the reigns on bringing this sentiment to life through the lens of French cult classic La Haine’s dim world.
