“Blood” is the second single from Dollar Renoire’s third EP En Rémission.

It’ s a dark track telling dark street stories. Street for street. No more no less.

Dollar Renoire is a French rapper from Stains, in Seine-Saint-Denis (93), specifically from the André-Lurçat neighborhood, known locally as “Les USA.” Since the early 2000s, he has developed a style of rap deeply rooted in his personal experiences, his neighborhood, and a hip-hop culture influenced by both French rap and the American scene.

His journey into rap truly began in 2001, after meeting Sam l’Infâme. He began performing on stage and gradually developed a distinctive artistic identity. Alongside his brother Aymar, he became involved in various hip-hop scenes across the Paris region, from local stages to community and cultural events.

In 2009, Dollar Renoire collaborated with Mario on the mixtape “Le Marionnettiste.” This period led to the creation of his first major project, “Cruel Espoir Project.” Although the album did not benefit from traditional distribution, Dollar Renoire chose to continue promoting his work independently, releasing several music videos including “Gotham,” “L.A,” “Dollarman,” and “Achieve.”

After several years of work and perseverance, he returned with “Vème Colonne,” his first EP, released in 2018. Produced notably by Lynaïbeats and Zyguéï, the project established his artistic universe: dark, technical and socially conscious rap, in which the artist addresses his surroundings, the social realities of his territory, and the experiences that have shaped his journey.

Dollar Renoire continued developing his artistic identity with “NEGRODOLORIAN,” released in 2022. The project includes tracks such as “Chasseur de Prime,” “Vue sur la rue,” “Stains – Brooklyn Connection” featuring Illa Ghee, “93 Corner” featuring Negrocentrik, “Terre,” “War Protocol,” and “M.A.F.I.A.”BRThrough “93 Corner,” Dollar Renoire particularly asserts his identity and his connection to the 93. The track, recorded with Negrocentrik, explores his relationship with his neighborhood and his personal journey, while establishing a connection with the Paris underground hip-hop scene.

His artistic universe is built around several core values: authenticity, memory, street culture, transmission, integrity, and social awareness. He embraces personal songwriting and has expressed his desire to write about subjects that genuinely matter to him, without allowing an artistic director to dictate what he should represent. He also places great importance on representing his hometown and neighborhood on an international level.

This international dimension can be seen in his collaboration with Illa Ghee, who is closely associated with the Mobb Deep universe, as well as his work with Bernadette Price, widow of American hip-hop legend Sean Price. In 2025, Dollar Renoire released “HIP HOP QG,” a tribute to Sean Price created between Stains and Brooklyn. This collaboration reflects his deep connection to American hip-hop culture and its historical roots.

Dollar Renoire therefore represents a form of rap that is not solely focused on performance or commercial recognition. His journey is that of an independent artist who has built his identity over time, remaining deeply connected to his roots and to a strong sense of artistic integrity.

From Stains to Brooklyn, Dollar Renoire is building a musical identity at the crossroads of French rap, underground hip-hop and American culture, with a constant desire to document his era, his territory and his story.

Ultimately, his journey can be summed up in one idea:

Turning experience into memory, memory into music, and music into legacy.
