Following in the footsteps of Onyx’s new album, Black Rock, Fredro Starr returns without his bald-headed PIC and in solo mode with his new solo album Firestarr 2, which is now available for purchase and streaming.
Firestarr 2 is Fredro’s fourth solo-project and the follow up to his 2001 classic. While known for his grimy and abrasive style, Firestarr 2 displays a more smooth and toned flow and includes collaborations with Vado, Kid Daytona & Ali Vegas.
While Fredro’s iconic status has propelled him into various movie and TV roles as an actor (Fredro’s credits include Clockers, Sunset Park, Strapped, The Wire, Light It Up and Save The Last Dance), he puts his acting chops on for the new Short Film/Video for the title track from his new project; which he also directed along with Michal Nemtuda.
Firestarr 2 was released thru Fredro’s Indy Imprint Mad Money.
