2018 has been a transformative year for Bishop Nehru. After numerous mixtapes and collaborative projects, he released his debut LP, Elevators: Act I & II, to rave reviews and fanfare and traversed the globe once more for a highly successful tour. The highly anticipated conceptual project, Elevators, saw Bishop forging a new working relationship with Kaytradana on Act I and reunited with longtime collaborator MF Doom on Act II.
To put a bow on 2018, Bishop has teamed up with HighSnobiety to gift a new free EP (‘Tis The Season!!), A Nehruvian Holidays, and also released a dope new visual for “IDGAF!.”
A Nehruvian Holidays is the appetizer for what promises to be Bishop’s biggest year yet in 2019, including a first quarter release of his sophomore LP Layout.
“There was a point in my life growing up where every Christmas I looked forward to my favorite musicians dropping music and listening to it with my new gifts” Bishop commented to HighSnobiety. “Now that I am in the position to do it myself, I’m taking full advantage of giving music to those who are waiting on it from me.
