Mike Holmes, better known as “Mike Smoove” born originally in Camden, New Jersey but currently resides in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Mike Smoove combines the sounds of Classic & Modern Hip Hop mixed with Melodic Deliveries to cultivate his own unique sound.
Growing up Mike Smoove drew his musical influence and love for Hip Hop by studying the greats like Jay Z, Twista, Biggie, Tupac, Bone Thugs & Harmony and many more.
In his early teens he would free style with friends and other local emcees early on realizing his passion for music and the direction he was going to take in his life. Smoove spent early years as a ghost writer and doing features for other artists. “I was always drawn to all forms of entertainment including modeling, acting, comedy and always had a love for the different facets of the entertainment business.” He stated in an interview.
As an Emcee Mike Smoove has gained a wide variety of listeners opening up for artists like Rick Ross, Bone Thugs & Harmony, Twista and Lil Wayne to name a few.
