How long do you chase a dream before you finally give up? 5 years? 10 years? 20 years?

What if the answer is NEVER?

“GET ON” is more than just another hip-hop song. It’s my story. It’s my journey. It’s the soundtrack to years of chasing something that most people would’ve given up on a long time ago.

I’m just a white kid from South Georgia who fell in love with hip-hop music and never fell out of love with it.

Growing up in the South, hip-hop wasn’t just something I listened to. It was part of who I became. The beats, the lyrics, the storytelling, the culture, the energy, and the way music could connect people from completely different walks of life. Something about it grabbed ahold of me, and it never let go.

Over the years, I’ve been fortunate enough to experience things that the younger version of myself could’ve only dreamed about.

I’ve crossed paths and shared incredible experiences with some of the most recognizable names in Southern hip-hop history.

The Ying Yang Twins – Atlanta hip-hop legends who helped define an entire era of Southern rap and crunk music.

Archie Eversole – The Georgia rapper behind the legendary anthem “We Ready,” a song that became bigger than hip-hop itself.

Camoflauge – A Savannah, Georgia hip-hop legend whose music and legacy helped put South Georgia’s rap scene on the map.

These weren’t just names on a playlist to me. These were artists whose music meant something to the culture I grew up loving.

To have experiences connected to artists like these is something I’ll never take for granted.

And yet, after all these years, here I am.

Still creating.

Still recording.

Still filming music videos.

Still chasing the same dream.

That’s what “GET ON” is about.

It’s about the reality of being an independent musician when the years start adding up. It’s about looking back at all the incredible things you’ve accomplished while realizing there’s still so much more you want to do.

It’s about the sacrifices nobody sees.

The money you’ve invested that you might never get back.

The late nights in the studio after working a full day.

The missed opportunities, unanswered messages, failed releases, and moments when you genuinely wonder whether any of this is ever going to pay off.

It’s about watching the music industry change around you while trying to figure out where you fit into it.

And it’s about that little voice in your head that keeps saying, “Man, you’ve come too far to quit now.”

THE INDEPENDENT ARTIST STRUGGLE IS REAL.

Anybody who’s ever tried to build something from nothing understands what I’m talking about.

Whether you’re an underground rapper, an independent recording artist, a small business owner, a content creator, or just somebody chasing a dream that everyone else thinks is unrealistic, this song is for YOU.

Because sometimes the hardest part isn’t getting started.

It’s KEEPING GOING.

Especially when you’ve been at it for years, and you’ve experienced just enough success to know what’s possible, but not enough to feel like you’ve finally arrived.

I’ve had moments in this music business that I’ll remember for the rest of my life. I’ve met incredible people, worked alongside talented artists, traveled, performed, and created memories that no amount of money could replace.

But I’ve also experienced the disappointment, frustration, rejection, and exhaustion that come with pursuing music independently.

And believe me, there have been plenty of times when walking away would’ve been the easier decision.

WE ONLY GET ONE SPIN ON THIS EARTH.

One life.

One opportunity to chase the things that make us feel alive.

One chance to look back someday and know that we gave it everything we had.

I’m not interested in spending the rest of my life wondering what would’ve happened if I’d kept going.

I’d rather fail trying than spend my later years wishing I’d tried harder.

And that’s the message behind “Get On.”

It isn’t about pretending the journey is easy.

It isn’t about claiming that success is guaranteed if you just work hard enough.

Because the truth is, sometimes you can do everything right and things still don’t work out the way you planned.

But that doesn’t mean the journey wasn’t worth taking.

Every song, every show, every connection, every setback, and every little victory has helped shape the person and artist I am today.

I’m proud of where I come from.

I’m proud of my South Georgia roots.

I’m proud of the experiences I’ve had in Southern hip-hop.

And I’m proud that after all these years, I STILL HAVE THE DESIRE TO CREATE
SOUTH GEORGIA HIP-HOP. INDEPENDENT MUSIC. REAL LIFE. REAL STORIES.

I’ve never needed to pretend to be somebody I’m not.

I’m just Cymple Man.

A guy from South Georgia who loves hip-hop music, respects the legends who came before him, and still believes there’s another chapter waiting to be written.
