DJ Yoda sent me the instrumental and once I heard the vocal sample, I knew how I wanted to approach it immediately. The song basically wrote itself. The first verse is about the plight of artists who put themselves out there and are at the mercy of public scrutiny. The second verse is about plight of the less fortunate who are at the mercy of the cold-hearted. It’s Cold Outside indeed! Salute to DJ Mercilless on the assist (scratches and visuals).
