You know you have power when you can make the Eiffel Tower lights flick off. Gerald and team head to Paris for the very cinematic “Tulips & Roses” video. Director Roxana Baldovin says that she and G were inspired by French films and wanted to nod to classics such as the 1960 Godard jewel, ‘Breathless.’ Otherwise, what we’ve got in “T&R” is a heist caper playing out in the Left Bank’s cafes and back streets. Another cool film reference is having the street fold in on itself – a wonderful visual image that nods to the surreal world of ‘Inception.’ See what other scenes float your boat in the sleek black and white offering.
