R&B sensation YK Osiris marks his return to music with a brand new EP. Titled Dear Fans, Osiris pens a heartfelt message to his supporters and breaks his silence across the eight-track project.
Osiris’ newest entry comes in the wake of a previous internet controversy that he has since brushed off. Unfazed by the critics, he addresses the public’s growing demand for answers. In broad and delicate verses, the singer-songwriter pulls back the curtain on his problems, opens up about his personal life, and wears his heart firmly on his sleeve as he finds balance within the ballads.
Dear Fans, out now via Drummer Recordz, includes the title track, “Dear Fans,” which is the heart and soul of the EP. The introspective gem was released last year and the video has clocked over 1.5 million views on YouTube, garnering media praise from outlets such as XXL, HotNewHipHop, VIBE Magazine, and The Source, among others. The emotive single also serves as Osiris’ first song as an independent artist.
Recently, Osiris just dropped the video for “They Don’t Love You,” a highlight from the new project. In the video, we see the former XXL Freshman emotionally describing matters of the heart, distilling a complicated situation into a memorable hook – WATCH ABOVE.
