ICYMI, GRAMMY® Award-winning R&B duo Blaq Tuxedo unveils the official visual for “CRASH OUT” with R&B icon Trey Songz. The video, filmed entirely on an iPhone 17 Pro, follows the trio through a night of debauchery with friends.
Directed by Moriah King, the supporting visual for “CRASH OUT” captures the best of what Miami’s nightlife has to offer. The video weaves together footage of the guys wowing audiences with a club performance, alongside shots of viral crash-out moments.
Released earlier this summer, the remix breathes new life into the record. Trey Songz adds depth and elasticity to the track in a tenderly written way only he could capture. With a lockstep chemistry that’s impossible to ignore, the trio blend perfectly on the song, taking the summer hit to another level.
It’s been an impressive run for Blaq Tuxedo; and last year the duo took things to new heights. In 2025 alone, they penned and produced records for Chris Brown (“Residuals” — co-produced/co-written) and Ciara (“Infinite Imagination,” “Low,” and “LMOL”). “Residuals” later earned a GRAMMY® nomination for Best R&B Performance, achieved Platinum RIAA certification, and reached No. 1 on Billboard’s Rhythmic and Mainstream R&B/Hip-Hop Airplay chart. Across their career, Blaq Tuxedo has also collaborated with Doja Cat, Ty Dolla $ign, B2K, and countless others, cementing themselves as one of R&B’s most sought-after production and songwriting duos.
As Blaq Tuxedo continues to craft a sound that’s instantly recognizable, the pair simultaneously reserve some ink in the pen for their own musical endeavors. “CRASH OUT” is a textured snapshot of the group’s artistic strengths, bolstered by a newfound determination to defy their own expectations.
Now, with “CRASH OUT” and a larger body of work on the horizon, Blaq Tuxedo is building a sonic universe centered around the genre-blurring lane they have quietly carved out for themselves.
