Rapper and native New Yorker, Focus The Truth releases his brand new music video “Ride For Me” via Mass Appeal. The gritty NYC video focuses on the rapper’s group of friends who are always down to “Ride For” him. As always, Focus delivers a powerful message both through the lyrical content of the track and with the dark emotional video.
The track “Ride For Me” comes off of Focus’s latest album Love Will Get You Killed. Which has been receiving great reviews from the likes of Earmilk and The Word Is Bond. This track is produced by London based beat maker Smoking Indoors who is also responsible for producing the vast majority of Love Will Get You Killed.
The director, Mohammed Hammad (@mofhammad), is a seasoned veteran who specializes in narrative videos about the human condition. The DOP, Jason Valenzuela (@joe.r.val), is another veteran who has been in the business for six years and works music festivals and with TV powerhouses’ like HBO.
