Jack Freeman ushers in the holiday season with the release of his highly anticipated holiday EP, The Gift, available now on all major streaming platforms. Highlighting Freeman’s soulful artistry and signature style, the project offers a fresh take on seasonal classics and heartfelt originals. Leading the collection is the previously released single “Feels Like Christmas,” co-written and produced by Grammy Award-winning producer and songwriter Bryan-Michael Cox.
“I’ve always dreamed of creating a holiday project that feels authentic, joyful, and timeless,” adds Freeman. “Bryan and I focused on centering Black music, particularly R&B, honoring the legacy of the greats while leaving my own unique mark.”
“The Gift is a tribute to the spirit of Christmas, inspired by themes of giving, joy, and peace. Through these songs, we sought to enjoy the essence of the holiday season and its messages of hope and unity,” says Bryan-Michael Cox.
As a special gift to his fans, Freeman also debuts the music video for “Red Light,” an evocative track that brings the warmth and intimacy of the season to life.

The Gift follows the success of Freeman’s third studio album, Nina, released earlier this year under Illustrate New Ideas in partnership with Venice Music. Co-produced by Bryan-Michael Cox, Nina featured singles “Shine” and sultry “U N D R E S S,” along with its remix featuring Grammy Award-winning R&B group Jagged Edge. The album, inspired by Black women and exploring themes of love and resilience, has solidified Freeman’s reputation as one of R&B’s most compelling voices.
Jack Freeman is also set to join Grammy-nominated singer and songwriter Eric Roberson on select dates of his upcoming tour, performing in cities including Philadelphia, PA (12/5 at City Winery), Baltimore, MD (12/22 at Baltimore Soundstage), St. Louis, MO (12/29 at City Winery), and Chicago, IL (12/30 at City Winery). He was also a featured performer on six dates of Grammy nominated singer Kenyon Dixon’s The R&B You Love Tour.

Jack Freeman’s soulful voice and commitment to “making good music and telling the truth” have established him as a standout in contemporary R&B. A Houston native, Freeman first gained attention with his 2011 debut album, Lynnie Free’s Juke Joint, and further solidified his reputation with the 2014 EP Bliss, which earned him the title of 97.9 The Box’s Artist to Watch. Over the years, he’s collaborated with Houston hip-hop legends like Scarface, Slim Thug, and Le$, and joined John Legend’s AXE Collective in 2016.
