After closing out 2021 with a collab project with DJ Green Lantern, Broken Glass, OT The Real is back with a new collaborative drop with Statik Selektah.
OT & Statik’s Maxed Out features appearances from Freeway, Shaq, Gillie Da Kid, Wallo and Merkules. The duo also released a new visual for “Make It Count,” which can be viewed below.
“Statik’s production pulls a different kinda sound out of me. I wrote most of this album on tour with Benny The Butcher. My lawyer got my state probation terminated early so I could be free to move around with the tour” OT The Real comments. “This is the first music I ever wrote where I was completely free and out of the system. So it’s only right we titled this jawn Maxed Out.”
“OT & I are both into the same style of street rap and this album pays homage to that” Statik Selektah asserts. “Nothing on here is for radio or a party. All just concrete.”
