Journey Montana – CryBaby [Music Video]

Buzzing songstress Journey Montana continues her red-hot momentum with a brand new single titled “Cry Baby.” The second taste of new from her forthcoming Stargirl EP, arriving November 17th.

“Cry Baby” follows on from “Jack,” which received rave reviews from Rated R&B, GlobalGrind, SOHH and more. The latter featured Journey in their “Single Ladies” column earlier this month (Oct 13).

On the track, finger-snaps and swells of orchestral violins murmur beneath the R&B phenomenon’s delicate croon. As she explores vulnerability, Journey makes it clear that she craves an intense affection – a borderline obsessive kind of love that’ll bring you to tears.

“I like to write from a place of exaggeration,” Journey Montana explains. “‘Cry Baby’ is about wanting to torture a guy who wants you. If a guy really wants me, I want him to cry for me and show me how badly he needs me.”

The video for “Cry Baby” opens on a shot of Journey in the comfort of her home. Spliced with flawlessly captured clips of the starlet, she doubles down on her sharp ultimatum: “Cry baby, cry baby, show me that you mean it / Better drop tears or I won’t believe it.” Watch above.

Check out “Cry Baby” above and stay tuned for more from Journey Montana very soon.
