The Man Behind The W…
Wu-Tang Clan’s own Mathematics has released his new single and video “God Body,” which features Method Man & AZ. “God Body” is now available at all DSPs and you can watch the new video above.
“God Body” pairs two of hip-hop’s most celebrated and lyricists, as Method Man and AZ get Godly over Mathematics production. “God Body” is the first single from Math’s forthcoming album, Black Samson: The Saga Continues, which will be released on 11.6.26.
Black Samson: The Saga Continues is the follow-up to Mathematics’ Black Samson: The Bastard Swordsman (which was released in April, 2025) which topped the iTunes Rap chart. The project is produced in its entirety by Mathematics and features collaborations with Method Man, Inspectah Deck, Masta Killa, U-God, AZ, Ransom, Cormega, Rome Streetz, Che Noir, Skyzoo, Planet Asia, Grafh, NEMS, and Cory Gunz, among others.
The momentum continues the following week, as Math will re-release his debut album, Love Hell Or Right, on 11.13.26. The expanded edition will feature additional tracks and includes appearances from most of the Wu-Tang Clan.
Mathematics is one of the most essential figures in Wu-Tang history. He designed the group’s legendary and iconic Wu-Tang Clan logo, serves as the group’s Tour DJ, and has production credits on every Wu-Tang album since their classic debut. His production work also appears on solo projects from Method Man, Redman & Method Man, Raekwon, Ghostface Killah, RZA, GZA, Inspectah Deck, Masta Killa, and Cappadonna.

Mathematics feat. Method Man & AZ – God Body lyrics:
[Intro: Method Man & AZ] Uh, yeahUh you know what it is
Uh, Allah and Meth
Uh, uh
Fire, locked and loaded
Let’s get it, uh
Let’s get it, yeah
Yeah, Staten Island
Brooklyn, Queens
Uh, yeah [Chorus: Method Man] God body, uh
All this work is God’s body
Touch God body
Get God smacked by God probably
They can’t harm me
I’m battle ready, got scars on me (Uh)
With bars on me
I lock it down, It’s squad only [Verse 1: Method Man] So hard, homie
These dope fiends go hard for me
And this murder I wrote? If it’s dope, they nod for me
They all know me
The Man is Method and y’all phonies
Using scam methods to get the credit that y’all owe me
The top of New York ’cause it’s only the top for me
Honey know me, just top only
I guess the top lonely
Hot potato, cannot hold me
Raising the stock slowly like Tyrese told me
This Baby Boy is not Jody’s
I’m fire, Mr. Meth, fire up the line
‘Fore I die, I’ma call you when you’re Messiah [?] Homicide housing this N-Y
This Empire State Of Mind
Get to bouncing if rappers don’t stay in line, uh [Chorus: Method Man] God body, uh
All this work is God’s body
Touch God body
Get God smacked by God probably
They can’t harm me
I’m battle ready, got scars on me (Uh)
With bars on me
I lock it down, It’s squad only
God body
All this work is God’s body
Touch God body
Get God smacked by God probably
They can’t harm me
I’m battle ready, got scars on me
With bars on me
I lock it down, It’s squad only [Verse 2: AZ] You know them off-peak hours, no seaside for power
Wolves on a creep trying to seek out the cowards
Hood shit is deep, niggas weak, get devoured
The sea’s in the reef, rest in peace with the flowers
It’s ours, thoughts that the mind can’t conceive
At the ritz in the mix, Mr. Childs when I greased
Lemons squeezed in the trone, LVs and it’s on
Make it authentic while the fraudulent mimic
Been it, peace in the streets for a minute
Dove down, body your all pals in it
Him it, then put the cuffs in the jeans, no gimmicks
Ain’t there a nigga fucking with the team, let him dream
Blue in the womb, made C.R.E.A.M
Du-rags in the lab
Had the Jag on the scene, so serene
Frame’s on tinted, money green
It’s a fact you only get back-stacks, what your bubble bring [Chorus: Method Man] God body, uh
All this work is God’s body
Touch God body
Get God smacked by God probably
They can’t harm me
I’m battle ready, got scars on me (Uh)
With bars on me
I lock it down, It’s squad only
God body
All this work is God’s body
Touch God body
Get God smacked by God probably
They can’t harm me
I’m battle ready, got scars on me
With bars on me
I lock it down, It’s squad only
