Primed for a major moment, drill music pioneer and platinum-selling Chicago hip-hop luminary, G Herbo, announces his anxiously awaited new album, Survivor’s Remorse, coming soon. To herald this epic album, he released a new single and music video entitled “Me, Myself & I” [feat. A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie] today.
Laced with somber piano, a hypnotic beat underlines an instantly chantable melody by A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie. Meanwhile, G Herbo rolls through with honest and hard-hitting bars as he takes a moment to urge, “Put me in the hall of fame, any given season.” In the accompanying visual, he and A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie take over a classic New York basketball court, overlooking the city from its rooftops, and engage in a stunning and scorching back and forth set against the sprawl of Herbo’s hometown.
About “Me, Myself & I,” Herbo commented, “A Boogie is my brother. We’ve been locked in since the beginning. It’s a deep record inspired by real-life events. When I heard the beat, I knew what I wanted to say. It’s about the pain we’ve felt and certain situations we couldn’t control.”
“Me, Myself & I” paves the way for Survivor’s Remorse, which has all the makings of a monumental and momentous statement for the culture.
Last year, G Herbo unleashed 25 to widespread acclaim. Complex noted he “is reaching new heights,” and he certainly did. 25 crashed the Top 5 of the Billboard Top 200. It not only became his second straight bow in the Top 10 of the chart, but it also emerged as his highest debut yet. It has amassed over 200 million streams and earned widespread praise. Starring on the cover, KAZI Magazine went as far as to christen him “Chicago’s Street Rap Messiah,” and HYPEBEAST dubbed it, “Arguably the rapper’s most vulnerable record to date.”

ABOUT G HERBO:
G Herbo not only put his hometown of Chicago, IL, on his back as a rapper but also as a mental health advocate and community leader. He’s done so by surviving, and he’s built a celebrated body of work as a testament to how far he’s come. 2020’s gold-selling PTSD cracked the Top 10 of the Billboard Top 200 and delivered a mental health clarion call in the form of the platinum-certified title track “PTSD” [feat. Juice WRLD, Lil Uzi Vert, & Chance the Rapper]. He only fought harder in its wake with the 2021 follow-up 25, earning his second consecutive Top 10 debut on the Billboard Top 200 and first Top 5 entry. Of 25, Pitchfork proclaimed, “His music has become more urgent.” Collaborations with everyone from the late Pop Smoke and The Kid LAROI, to Dave East and Harry Fraud, followed in between performances alongside Miley Cyrus and Marshmello.
Meanwhile, he founded Swervin’ Through Stress—a youth mental health program highlighted by Forbes 30 Under 30. Breathing life back into the Windy City, he will remodel an old, shuttered, public elementary school as a community hub. However, his sweeping opus Survivor’s Remorse makes a statement and shows exactly who G Herbo is.
